Join Us at the EV Innovation & Technology Conference 2025, hosted by Electric Autonomy Canada, on 📅 February 6, 2025, at 📍 York University in North York, Toronto, Ontario. This pivotal event brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to shape Canada’s electric vehicle future.
As a key player in advancing sustainable transit solutions, Damera Corporation will share insights about electric vehicles the Karsan eJEST, a compact and efficient electric bus perfect for suburban transit, and also our Temsa TS45e, an electric motorcoach designed for long-distance comfort and zero-emission performance.
Collaboration is key to achieving success in electrification. That's why we offer comprehensive solutions to transit agencies, providing not only advanced electric vehicles but also charging infrastructure (check our chargers here), telematics support, and additional devices that enhance operational reliability.
Electric Autonomy commented our article and called Oakville Transit's electrification story as "a great example of public-transit fleet electrification".

“Our implementation of the small Karsan fleet, pretty much, is a huge pilot. But it doesn’t stop, right? It gave us a taste and it really helped us understand the impacts of operating [EVs]. So that was a huge learning opportunity for us.” - said Adrian Kawun, director of Oakville Transit, in an interview with Electric Autonomy.
The ability to "taste" electrification through pilot programs offers a unique learning opportunity, allowing transit agencies to identify challenges, refine processes, and optimize solutions. This hands-on experience is invaluable in paving the way for a more informed and seamless transition to a sustainable and efficient electric fleet. Adrian Kawun shared with Electric Autonomy that the Karsan vehicles have been performing exceptionally well. They offer lower refueling costs, fewer mechanical issues compared to their diesel counterparts, and have garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback from the community. He stated that people "actually calling in and saying it’s great to see these buses out there."
“People literally stop in their tracks and start taking pictures. There’s a huge excitement about it (eJEST),” says Kawun.
Collaborate with us to bring innovative electric vehicles, like the Karsan eJEST, to your fleet and captivate your community.
Our goal is to empower our clients to make informed decisions and plan more efficient, sustainable transit. Let’s build a resilient and innovative EV ecosystem. We look forward to connecting with you at the conference!
