Damera Corporation is pleased to announce our participation as a sponsor of the Zero Emission Bus Resource Alliance (ZEBRA) Fall Roundtable, taking place September 23–24, 2026, in Spokane, Washington, and co-hosted by Spokane Transit Authority.
We would like to thank ZEBRA (Zero Emission Bus Resource Alliance) and Spokane Transit for organizing this highly valuable event and for creating a collaborative forum where transit agencies across the United States and Canada can exchange practical experience with battery electric buses.

This year’s theme, “Charging Ahead: Are We There Yet?”, reflects one of the most important questions facing the transit industry today: how to deploy battery electric buses in a way that is operationally reliable, financially sustainable, and scalable over time.
The Roundtable will explore the full battery electric bus ecosystem, with sessions covering:
▪️ charging infrastructure and energy management
▪️ battery technology and lifecycle considerations
▪️ HVAC systems and thermal management
▪️ parts, service, and maintenance support
▪️ vehicle performance and operational readiness
Events like ZEBRA are especially valuable because they bring together transit agencies, technology providers, and industry experts to share real-world lessons from active zero-emission bus deployments.
At Damera Corporation, we are proud to contribute to these discussions.

We are pleased to announce that Roman Duplak, P.Eng., M.Eng., VP Americas Sales at Damera Corporation, will be speaking at the ZEBRA Fall Roundtable, contributing Damera’s perspective on right-sized electric transit and practical fleet electrification.
Drawing on his experience working directly with transit agencies across North America, Roman will discuss how vehicle selection, duty cycle, charging requirements, accessibility, operating efficiency, and lifecycle considerations can work together when planning zero-emission deployment. He will also explore how electric minibuses can complement larger vehicles within a diversified fleet, particularly where passenger demand or operating conditions do not require full-size capacity.
As the exclusive North American distributor of the Karsan eJEST and other advanced mobility solutions, Damera supports transit agencies beyond vehicle delivery with engineering expertise, charging infrastructure guidance, high-voltage training, technical support, and long-term after-sales service.
Our right-sized electric minibuses provide another option for microtransit, paratransit, community and neighbourhood service, first- and last-mile connections, campuses, and lower-demand routes—applications where matching vehicle capacity to the actual duty cycle can improve fleet utilization while maintaining the accessibility and passenger experience expected from public transit.
The Karsan eJEST will be part of our conversations around right-sized fleet electrification; a vehicle display has not been announced for this event.
We are proud to support ZEBRA’s Fall Roundtable and look forward to exchanging experience with transit agencies and industry partners in Spokane. These conversations are important as the industry moves beyond simply adopting battery-electric technology toward determining how to deploy it reliably, efficiently, and at scale.
If your agency is evaluating battery-electric buses or considering where right-sized vehicles could complement your existing fleet, connect with Roman and the Damera team in Spokane. Let’s discuss your routes, duty cycles, charging requirements, and service objectives—and where right-sized electric transit could create measurable value for your network.
